Your mission at Cloudmore:
To strategically lead, monitor, and supervise the Software Engineering team to successfully achieve the set goals that contribute to the future-focused growth of the organization as a whole. Hence, the role is responsible for their team´s execution, the quality of the work they produce, the speed and cadence at which they produce as well as for the team’s culture, work environment, and overall growth of the people on it.
Your main responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of the delivery of services owned by the team.
- Leading and motivating the team by acting as a mentor and a coach to develop the team members, also supporting in any conflict resolutions, and empowering the overall team bonding via different engaging activities.
- Striving to continuously improve engineering processes to be a highly performing team.
- Establishing an effectively efficient communication flow between the team members and organization as a whole.
- Ensuring the right talent is recruited for the team by being actively involved in the relevant recruitment process.
- Evaluating the team members' performance on ongoing basis by providing them timely feedback and to best help them succeed in their roles.
You are THE Cloudmorian if you have:
- 3+ years of experience managing an engineering team
- Solid understanding of technical concepts
- Experience in coaching and/or mentoring
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strive for continuous improvement
- Ability to individually set up goals and complete these with minimal supervision
- Great spoken and written English
Bonus points for:
- Good spoken and written Estonian
- Experience working as a software engineer
- Leading cross-functional teams
