Your day-to-day:
Your career at Boku will start as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. You´ll be hands-on with our current infrastructure stack and its management. Participating in other infrastructure-related development projects to contribute to our innovation and growth. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Managing AWS infrastructure components using the infrastructure-as-code approach (currently CloudFormation).
- Managing CI / CD pipelines, configuration management (Ansible, Chef) and monitoring tools (Elastic stack).
- Responding to incidents and participating in technical investigations.
- Building automated solutions for complex recurring tasks.
- Driving technical choices for improving our infrastructure platform.
- Driving cross-team security initiatives.
- Designing the future technical platform and tools.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter the most in this role:
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure engineering role
- At least 3 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP or Azure
- You know the way around with automation and configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, TerraForm)
- Proficiency with Linux and bash
- Masters/Comfortable with CI/CD
- Deep knowledge of computer networking architecture, protocols and standards
- Familiar with public key cryptography and authentication schemas
- Skilled at least in one programming language - preferably Python, Ruby or Java
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable with agile environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Some experiences that would be extra awesome:
- Experience administering Elastic stack/ML
- Experience with message queue-based applications
- Experience administering MySQL or PostgreSQL
