As IT Manager, you will be:
- Reporting to the Director of Security and IT
- Leading, coaching, supporting, and motivating the Global IT team - to develop and improve their performance, to support their personal development, to ensure the expectations of external stakeholders are being met.
- Managing day-to-day IT operations of our busy IT department.
- Participating in hiring and team building to assure the long-term sustainability of the team
- Driving and budgeting technical choices to assure sustainability of our IT eco-system
- Manage business continuity, incident response and disaster recovery planning for IT
- Facilitate IT risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation with in-depth understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape
- End-to-end vendor management including selection, due diligence, contract, and performance reviews
- Promote and develop best practice model for Management of IT and maintain strong ICT governance
- Manage, evaluate, and ensure IT security & Data concerns are addressed
- Maintain and evaluate current architecture focusing on continuous improvement and innovation
- Manage and coordinate IT projects and/or oversee project management to successful delivery
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter the most in this role:
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT Manager/ Team Lead
- You must really enjoy supporting and managing people including mentoring, coaching, succession planning and team building
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of IT (sysadmin/DevOps/Infra/Platform etc)
- Experience of ITIL or similar principles/toolsets in IT frameworks
- Knowledge and real-world experience of cybersecurity frameworks/best practises (ISO 27001:2013)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
