Test assignment

Would you like to work with TOP technical stack? Would you like to learn from colleagues with broad expertise? Do you want to get off the treadmill and develop your skills? So, complete the test task, pass a couple of interviews and go through a month traineeship period and you’ll open the door to new opportunities. It is not going to be easy, we require employees to work hard and develop their skills at a fast pace.

Complex and interesting projects and our experienced and friendly team are waiting for you in our company. All our clients are foreign companies (EU/US/etc.), that’s why (at least) basic English knowledge is required. We specialize in development of custom web applications, websites and browser extensions.

You will work closely with other back-end developers, QA engineers, designers,front-end developers, PMs and other employees. Our PM will make every effort to make you feel comfortable working in the company. The company has introduced an IDP program (Individual Development Plan) for each employee. Our full-time English teacher will provide support and improve your English skills.

Our working conditions

  • First two month will be a paid probation period;
  • Stable salary;
  • Hourly rate is set in €;
  • Official employment (by contract);
  • Traineeship period paid as fixed monthly payment;
  • Full work load of 160−200 hours per month and hourly rate ensuring all (extra) hours are paid;
  • Revision of the hourly rate every six months by 5−50% (see more details in the «Opportunities/benefits» section below);
  • Quarterly bonus, project performance based;
  • English classes 2 times per week (groups of two people, after work hours);
  • MacBook Pro 13/16, 4K monitor, stand, mouse, keyboard, headphones, comfortable chair, company branded T-shirt and mug;
  • 75% of the salary is also paid for «bench». «Bench» means standby time — when you don’t have project and you work on your IDP or other personal/internal tasks to improve your knowledge and skills;
  • Working day from 8:00 to 17:00***;
  • Breakfast, lunches and other things in the kitchen at the expense of the company (coffee, tea, cookies, sweets, yogurts and drinks in the refrigerator);

Opportunities/benefits

  • Each employee has a mentor and together with him develops an IDP (Individual Development Plan) to improves skills and knowledge in different areas;
  • Revision of the hourly rate happens every six months and depends on the implementation of the IDP and other performance indicators;
  • Opportunity to learn NodeJS, modern frontend frameworks like Vue/React, iOS/Android React Native apps development or browser extensions development as part of the HW (Home Work) program. After that you can participate in our projects also as a NodeJS developer, frontend developer, React Native developer and/or browser extension developer;

  • Experienced colleagues ready to help with complex tasks. Technically savvy PMs who do task decomposition and know how to work with both the client and developers. No broken telephone game and no estimates handed down from the top;
  • Mandatory peer code review and test coverage of important functionality, efficient QA process and task acceptance procedures;
  • Opportunity to study related areas/technologies (frontend, browser extensions, nodejs) — not abruptly, but systematically as if working on a complete mini-project; being guided by a mentor and according to a plan drawn up with a mentor, with the tasks accepted by a QA, etc.

Requirements

  • 2−3 year’s experience;
  • Solid speaking skills in the Russian language;
  • Experience with LAMP/LEMP stack: PHP 7+ (PHP 8 preferred);
  • Experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Laravel;
  • Experience working with SQL;
  • GIT knowledge.

  • PHP projects: LAMP/LEMP, Laravel 5−8+;
  • NodeJS: NestJS, TypeORM, etc.;
  • Other technologies: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Kubernetes, Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD, etc.;
  • Hosting: Digital Ocean, AWS (including serverless services like Lambda, SQS, SES, API Gateway, etc),
  • Heroku, GCP/GKE, Cloudflare, etc.;
  • Local development: Docker.
