Full Stack Developer

Our IT team is looking for a fast-moving, ambitious Full Stack Developer with an entrepreneurial mindset.

She/He will work closely with our CTO and will be responsible for writing scalable production-grade code that integrates with leading marketing APIs (Google, Facebook, Bing) in collaboration with other product engineering teams.

A Full Stack Developer at Outer Rim is comprised of creative problem solvers and strategic software professionals who partners with our Marketing team to understand their challenges and architect solutions. You are at the cross function of business and engineering helping our marketing team and monetization partners reach their business goals with advertising products by finding technology solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

- Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with the all the teams to meet business needs
- Understand and apply knowledge of products, technologies and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scale
- Independently break down coding projects into tasks and partner with all applicable teams and partners to meet pre-established goals
- Ship and launch production level code with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans
- Build relationships with team members and marketing team
- Share project updates and insights
- Influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics


Minimum Requirements


- 3+ plus years of experience shipping production quality code
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience



Additional Requirements

- Experience working with Marketing APIs including but not limited to Facebook, Google, Bing.
- Experience working with linux os including but not limited to Ubuntu Server.
- Experience working with AWS services.

Experience in backend or frontend development:

Backend:
- Strong knowledge of data structure and algorithms, proficient in PHP and Python.
- Strong knowledge of Laravel (8+) Framework

Frontend:
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5.
- Strong knowledge of frontend development, proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to ES6, Typescript.
- Familiar with web technology stack like React, Vue, Webpack, Node.js, etc

Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems.
