About this opportunity

As the Senior Controller in GBS CFO, you will work closely with the whole GBS CFO team within Nordea. You will be responsible for financial analysis, various consolidations, planning and follow-up, as well as bringing financial insights to the leadership team in GBS.

You will be employed in and be organisationally part of a central team of Finance Business Partners within GBS CFO. We serve the individual management teams across the different parts of GBS, as well as the overall management team. We use our financial and business competences to support our stakeholders to ultimately drive future performance and value creation for Nordea. In GBS Finance we thrive on developing our skills and competences together, and act as a support network for the business and for each other.

You will have a variety of operational responsibilities, such as:
- Developing and maintaining various pieces of performance analysis, drilling into our actuals and planning data to derive actionable insights
- Preparing presentation decks covering actuals and plan data for senior management
- Creating and maintaining a data set of performance and planning data, ensuring it is refreshed according to our cycles (from multiple different sources)
- Various consolidation tasks related to planning and follow-up
- Ad hoc analysis and project participation
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Dependent on skills or development areas - being the finance and accounting point of contact for certain domains

Requirements:
- Relevant work experience (controlling, accounting, financial planning)
- University education in finance or accounting
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience in Power BI or similar tool is a bonus
- Are active, self-driven and have the ability to get things done independently or as a part of a team
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- A desire to learn and progress further in the organisation
