Responsibilities:
The Risk Data and Analytics department is a part of the Risk Division which addresses the management, advanced analytics and governance of risk data. The Infrastructure Team Lead is a critical member of a focused and highly competent Pan-Baltic team, whose role is to facilitate and support internal customers by designing, developing and maintaining required reports and analyses to satisfy and exceed Risk Division needs.
- Management, development and maintenance of the Risk Data Platform (RDP) IT infrastructure
- Definition of IT key design choices and execution of testing and implementation
- Designing, testing, implementing and executing batch queries for the risk, compliance and business requirements
- Technological ownership of Risk Data Platform (RDP) being accountable for its design, implementation and maintenance
- Ensure that the Risk Infrastructure processes are operating effectively and efficiently toward achieving high standards and understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving application
- Management of a dedicated IT team, providing guidance and expertise in IT infrastructure topics to the team
- Regular communication with other structural units within the organization and external consultants providing and getting related information
- Contribute to a good working environment by taking on a positive and constructive approach in cooperation with colleagues and giving honest feedback ensuring the drive of high performance in the unit
- Other tasks relevant to the role given by direct manager and project manager
Skills and Experience:
- To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least 5 years in a similar role preferably within the banking industry with a strong background in risk systems/risk IT architecture
- You are also educated to at least Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent in a STEM or other numerate discipline with experience in data driven analysis and statistical or mathematical modelling
- Extensive team management experience preferably in risk or IT management area and ability to develop the team, including coaching on IT infrastructure best practices definition
- Ability to work with big data, understanding of the databases and IT infrastructure
- Experience with data modelling
- Strong programming skills is SQL and Python/R
- Effective in translating business requirements into IT requirements
- Preferable understanding of Risk related data Analytical, strategical way of thinking and result oriented
- Fully proficient in MS Office tools (particularly Excel, Access)
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) would be considered as an advantage
- Initiative and high-level of responsibility
- Accuracy and preciseness

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel
