Responsibilities:
The Risk Data and Analytics department is a part of the Risk Division which addresses the management, advanced analytics and governance of risk data. The Risk Data Management Team Lead is a critical member of a focused and highly competent Pan-Baltic team, whose role is to facilitate and support internal customers by designing, developing and maintaining required reports and analyses to satisfy and exceed Risk Division needs.
- Management of a dedicated data driven team, providing guidance and expertise in data management to the team
- Big amount, various levels of granularity data exploring, mining, analysis and process for Risk Division projects
- Data quality control and active leading of initiatives to improve the data quality
- Preparation of data and reports according to internal guidelines
- Support of ad-hoc data request preparation
- Translation of risk requirements into logical data model
- Regular communication with other structural units within the organization and external consultants providing and getting related information
- Contribute to a good working environment by taking on a positive and constructive approach in cooperation with colleagues and giving honest feedback ensuring the drive of high performance in the unit
- Other tasks relevant to the role given by direct manager and project manager
Skills and Experience:
- To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably within the banking industry with a strong background in data modelling
- You are also educated to at least Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent in a STEM or other numerate discipline with experience in data driven analysis and statistical or mathematical modelling
- You will also demonstrate: Extensive team management experience preferably in risk or data management area
- Ability to work with big data, understanding of the databases and data extraction techniques
Strong programming skills in SQL, Python/R - Experience with data modelling
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) would be considered as an advantage
- Preferable understanding of Risk related data Analytical, strategical way of thinking and result oriented
- Fully proficient in MS Office tools (particularly Excel, Access)
- Previous experience on agile working environment would be a plus
- Initiative and high-level of responsibility
- Accuracy and preciseness
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communicationFluent English
- Willingness to travel
