Requirements for candidates
+ Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate and HTML/CSS knowledge with at least 3 years of experience in a development position
+ Knowledge and experience in Javascript, React, and/or other web development toolkits
+ Knowledge and experience in microservice architectures
+ Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write complex SQL queries. PostgreSQL know-how would be advantageous
+ Experience with Apache Kafka, Openshift and/or Docker as well as Gradle would be considered as a big plus
+ Have agile mindset, trust in self-organization and effective & open communication
+ Fluent in English as a prerequisite to work in an international project environment
Job description
An excellent opportunity to join our dynamic and innovative development team where you will play a key role in developing our Cost Controlling Solution using technologies like Java/Javascript, Openshift and Docker. As a Full-Stack Java Developer, you will work in an agile team doing both green field development and updating the existing software. You will be able to try out different frameworks and technologies. Often you will have a chance to develop both the front-end Javascript/React/other and the back-end architecture (mostly Java).
Your Responsibilities
+ Developing new and existing functionality of enterprise solutions
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes following agile principles
+ Taking part in design decisions together with the team and business stakeholders
+ Integration of new components into existing environment
+ Support of other activities across the full software development cycle (e.g. test automation, continuous delivery)
+ 3rd level support for the applications you are working on
