Azure DevOps Engineer - (m/w/d)

To ensure that we continue to be so successful, we are looking for an a DevOps Engineer with a larger focus to support the database system of a public institute (m/f/d).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up, operation and administration of database systems
• Optimise existing database systems according to current guidelines and application-specific requirements
• Conception, operation and administration of cloud services such as: MS Azure AD, Office365, Messenger, video services and other well-known standards.
• Operation and administration of the MS Active Directory using GPOs, PowerShell, scripting
• Conceptual design of the MS Active Directory with regard to the upcoming requirements
• Operation, support, configuration of the UMG asset management system including the necessary inventory of assets and licences
• Operation and configuration of the MDM/MDA system of UMG
• Implementation of IT security guidelines and requirements
• Development and implementation of concepts for the solution/optimisation/mapping of technical security measures.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed computer science or technically oriented studies with a focus on IT or similar studies.
• Strong experience in server and database administration
• Profund knowledge in the administration of MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres SQL, cloud systems such as Azure
• Know-how in data storage and data backup
• Very good knowledge of the management and monitoring solutions used
• Network technology and IT security is quite familiar to you
• SQL or MS Azure administrator certifications - nice to have
