About the Role
You will be a part of the team that is responsible for the automation of provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of all the data platform services. Intertrust relies heavily on cloud technologies and embraces concepts such as CI, CD, and automation in all areas.
Our scalable data platform is robust and relies on various distributed computing technologies. You will be working together with the software engineers to ensure that applications are developed with security, operations, and monitoring automation in mind.
All developers and architects are responsible for participating in the operations and maintenance of the services, but you will be focused on ensuring that this is done according to high standards and using the best tools and technologies available. Intertrust manages datasets that are very valuable and private, thus the security of the systems is of the highest priority.
What you will do
- Ensure security of all operations and deployments
- Develop provisioning automation
- Develop deployment automation
- Develop monitoring and alerting automation
- Work with teams around the world to standardize tools and best practices
- Monitor services and triage issues
- Ensure service level requirements are met
Requirements
- Experience with container tooling and orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting
- Experience managing infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of Internet protocol suite, network security and infrastructure
- Knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Creative thinker
Bonus points
- Experience in multiple cloud environments such as AWS, vSphere, and Azure
- Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, Envoy deployments
- Experience with Prometheus and EFK stack
- Experience of ensuring compliance with information security standards
