Founded in 2008, we are an international team of 75 people. A team environment and highly collaborative, we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our passionate global team.

Finnplay is establishing a new team in Tallin to monitor our business-critical worldwide gaming applications. The team shall consist of 4 experts who together will proactively optimize and tune our solutions. In your new role, you will have the chance to build from scratch the company’s DevOps strategy and tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and will employ DevOps tools to improve the development of the team’s production. The position is based in Tallin, Estonia.

Responsibilities

• Developing and reviewing deployment process.
• Maintaining and monitoring systems.
• Delivering tasks accurately and on-time.
• Troubleshooting production issues.

Qualifications

• Relevant studies (e.g. computer science, information technology)
• Understanding of web based applications
• Strong Linux expertise, including hardware, software, networking
• Experience with CI/CD environment, build/release tools and systems like Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins
• Fully proficient with Docker
• Extensive Kubernetes experience
• Experience with one or more configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• Experience with cloud providers - AWSm Azure.
• Experience working with monitoring and alerting framework like grafana, elk
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience in one or more programming languages, Shell, Python, or Groovy – an advantage
• Fluent English
