Bob W got started in Finland in 2018, expanded to Estonia in mid-2019 and plans to grow to 1,000 living spaces across Northern Europe, Central Europe and the UK within the next 18 months. The Role

Our newly established Real Estate team will drive supply growth by identifying top-of-the-funnel lease opportunities, negotiate leases, manage deal closings, oversee development projects and plan and execute the design and ramp-up of new properties.

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to impact the underwriting of our upcoming real estate transactions. More precisely, in this critical role you will:

• Manage and conduct the financial analysis for all potential lease and/or acquisition opportunities
• Support the identification, evaluation, and monitoring of investments across multiple markets and real estate asset classes
• Lead market research in all targeted markets by maintaining a database of economic and asset specific market data/metrics, analysing key demographic, economic trends, and other real estate market conditions
• Provide analytical insight and establish benchmark underwriting for particular regions through property reports and understanding cash flows in that market
• Build and maintain relationships to acquire real estate market insights from external sources such as lenders, appraisers, brokers, and research professionals
• Create compelling and concise investment reports and presentations for internal and external use
• Identify key hospitality and real estate trends and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organisation

What we look for: 

• 3+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated understanding of financial terms and principles necessary in real estate underwriting
• Proven financial modelling skills
• Comprehensive understanding of different commercial real estate asset classes, including hospitality, residential, retail, office and mixed-use
• Strong resourcefulness to complete in-depth industry and market analyses
• Self-starter mentality and results-driven attitude
• Strong analytical skills, financial/math skills and a keen sense of numbers
• Top-notch oral and written communication skills
