English Language Learner Teacher
International School of Estonia has a vacancy for the position of English Language Learner Teacher commencing in August 2021. The ELL Teacher is a member of the ISE Student Support Services team and the person with responsibility for facilitating the development of PYP and MYP student understanding and usage of the English Language.
This is a full time role that involves a mixture of pull out and push in teaching.
Professional Qualities:
●You should have an internationally recognised qualification in teaching the English language and experience working with different age groups, especially with children.
●While English first language is not a requirement, an extremely high level of written, comprehended and spoken English is required.
●An understanding of the Middle Years and Primary Years programmes of the International Baccalaureate is considered beneficial
Personal Qualities:
●You should be a collaborative person, confident working with students and families for whom English is not their first language.
●Someone who is well organised, able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other staff.
●Strong communication skills with the ability to listen and understand
