Are you looking for an internship that will let you do much more than just code according to some external requirements? At 1oT, you'll have the opportunity to gain professional skills and build your resume.
As an engineering intern, youll be able to help with improving our platform by building kick-ass new features and optimizing for the best solutions. Since were building our own product, you get to pitch in on which technologies to use, what approaches to take, and ultimately assume ownership for specific parts of the product! The IoT sector is considered to be one of the fastest-growing in the world, so why not to find out how this field works?
You will receive support and first-hand know-how from our 1oTeam of troopers. We come from different cultural backgrounds and have varied skill-sets, so life never gets boring. What connects us is our #nobullshit attitude, giving and expecting honest feedback, and a good sense of humor.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the development of new product features.
- Improve and optimize existing parts of the platform.
- Participate in technical discussions and suggest solutions/technologies.
- Take ownership of assigned components or tasks.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality results.
Education
Currently studying (or recently graduated from) IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
(Formal education not strictly required if you can demonstrate skills through projects.)
This internship is a good fit for you if you possess:
- A strong problem-solving mindset.
- A get things done attitude delivery over excuses.
- Good self-management and reliability (we dont micromanage).
- Curiosity and willingness to build and learn fast.
- Comfort with honest feedback and open communication.
- Fluency in English.
Additional requirements
- Ability to work on-site either in Tallinn or Tartu.
- Eligibility to work full-time for the full 3-month period.
- Legally allowed to work in Estonia (if not an Estonian citizen).
- Portfolio or GitHub link is strongly recommended.
