💡About the role:
Location: This is a hybrid role with a flexible remote work option within Estonia. You're welcome to work from our cozy offices in Tallinn or Tartu.
We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Leap Service Delivery team, managing accounting and compliance for Estonian e-residents worldwide. In this position, you'll communicate with a diverse range of clients and collaborate with colleagues from various departments. To make your daily tasks easier, you'll use Xolos software, which automates many routine accounting processes, freeing up your time and mental energy for more meaningful, value-added work. As an accountant at Xolo, you will;
- Consult e-residents who run an Estonian OÜ via email, ensuring they receive high-quality accounting and tax support.
- Ensure customers' OÜ accounting is as up-to-date as possible based on the information and documents they provide.
- Process and analyze accounting data and documents using Xolo's proprietary platform.
- Prepare financial statements, tax declarations, and annual reports, ensuring that all documents are submitted and reported on time.
- In special cases, review and categorize purchase documents (our Support Specialists and AI system handle most of the technical tasks)
🔎 You are the one we are looking for if you have:
- Solid understanding of Estonian accounting and tax laws, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounting.
- Experience working with companies run by e-residents is considered an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English and Estonian. Good written English is especially important, as you'll be supporting international clients via email.
- A solution-oriented mindset with strong time management skills. You're comfortable making independent decisions, taking responsibility, and collaborating with others when needed.
- Interest in collaborating with engineering teams to help improve Xolo's product and internal processes.
- Curiosity about technology. You're comfortable with modern tools and quick to grasp new concepts.
