Our Accounts Payable team is looking for an Accountant.

Your key responsibilities:

Processing daily vendor incoming PO and non-PO related invoices in SAP according to legal and tax requirements and business instructions.
Resolving discrepancies if any by communicating with business units contact person and with Team Lead or another team member if needed.
Supporting Team Lead or Senior Accountant in preparation of weekly payment proposals (data quality check).
Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing together with AP Team Lead and Senior Accountant.
Reconciling intercompany vendor balances on behalf of Business Unit.
Ensuring that all closing tasks for country business units are completed in time.
Participating in testing (SAP, VIM etc).
Creating IT tickets in case of system issues and errors.
Answering incoming vendor inquiries about account status, open invoices via web-tool or by e-mail.
Substituting other team members in case of absence.
Follows the requirements of the GDPR regulation tasks in daily work.
Other work-related duties may be assigned by management.

What should you bring?:

Education

Vocational education in finance and/or in accounting

Experience and competences:

Minimum 2-years working experience in accounting or any related field;
good knowledge and understaing of accounting processes;
accurate and detail oriented working style; deadline-oriented mindset;
flexible, self-driven and autonomous working style;
self-driven work attitude;
ability for problem solving in systematic way;
business and customer oriented;
well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; business and customer oriented attitude;
good understanding of and experience in working with ERP software (SAP, Navision, Axapta etc.);
fluency in spoken and written English.
