We are now looking for a
PERFORMANCE MARKETING & SEO MANAGER
to join our newly established Digital Commerce unit, which is at the heart of delivering our Omnichannel Customer Experience. In this role, you will lead and develop Stockmanns performance marketing and SEO strategy driving customer acquisition, engagement, and profitable growth through data-driven, omnichannel campaigns.
You will be located in Finland in our Flag Ship Store in Helsinki. We work in a hybrid model so app. 50% of the week your presence is greatly appreciated at the office.
Where is your expertise needed?
As a Performance Marketing & SEO Manager, you will take ownership of Stockmanns paid and organic growth channels, ensuring every campaign and investment delivers measurable commercial impact. You will combine hands-on execution with strategic leadership managing agency partners, optimizing media performance, and advancing data activation and measurement capabilities across our three markets.
You are also responsible for maximizing profitability and revenue by planning, executing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across multiple channelsleveraging data, technology, and creativity. You will also own SEO (technical, content + AI driven discoverability), audience strategies, and develop data activation capabilities.
You will work as a manager (people leader) for 2 team members. Previous experience in similar positions is seen as an advantage.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and execute a future-proof performance strategy across paid and organic channels driving traffic, conversion, and profitability today, while positioning for AI-driven pathways tomorrow
- Create media plans grounded in profitability, margin, ROAS, but also in agentic channel readiness (i.e. how our offers and catalog can be surfaced and consumed by AI agents)
- Manage media agency relationships for performance, optimization, and budget efficiency
- Develop and execute performance marketing campaigns across SEM, paid social, display, retargeting, and affiliates
- Own end-to-end media budget management and deliver ROAS and profitability targets
- Lead SEO strategy across all markets including technical SEO, content SEO, and optimization visibility within AI-driven discovery and listening platforms
- Develop data activation capabilities and audience frameworks: leverage zero-/first-party data, reverse ETL, lookalike audiences, and feed-based signals to improve targeting and measurement accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Category, and Data & Analytics teams to plan and execute key commercial campaigns
- Manage and optimize MarTech platforms for performance excellence
- Support advanced measurement initiatives such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution modeling, and incrementality testing to guide investment decisions and long-term ROI optimization
What are we looking for?
To be able to succeed in this role we see you need to have minimum 5 years experience within Performance Marketing, e-Commerce, Digital Growth, SEO, Omnichannel Retail. You have a proven track record of driving profitable revenue growth through digital channels and strong expertise in SEM, paid social, display, retargeting, affiliate marketing, and SEO ((technical and content).
You combine creativity with commercial flair and you can connect media strategy with brand storytelling.
We also value:
- Commercial mindset and strong commercial acumen - sharpness in product appeal & trends and connecting media spend to business outcomes
- Proven track record of managing paid media budgets with measurable ROAS improvement
- Experience in planning and managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta,Google and TikTok
- Skilled in SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and optimizing for AI-driven discovery
- Experience with MarTech and data activation platforms, audience segmentation, and feed management
- Understanding of MMM, attribution, and incrementality frameworks
- Solid understanding of data activation and MarTech integrations enabling you to work seamlessly with Data & Analytics and Integrations teams to translate marketing goals into technical development priorities
You are a self-driven, customer-centric problem solver with strong analytical and strategic mindset. You have a great deal of stakeholders that you need to be able to effectively communicate with so excellent communication and collaborating skills are naturally a must have.
You communicate fluently in English and in Finnish (written and spoken).
