We are now looking for a

PERSONALIZATION SPECIALIST 

to jointhe brand new Digital Commerce unit. In this role you will support Personalization Manager to optimize and execute Stockmanns personalization, CRM, consent and lifecycle strategy to deliver seamless, relevant, and profitable omnichannel customer experiences across all digital commerce channels in our three markets.

 

Where is your expertise needed?
 

As a Personalization Specialist, you will be responsible for hands-on execution and optimization of customer lifecycle journeys across all digital channels. You will ensure that campaigns are built, tested and continuously optimized to deliver personalized, profitable & scalable customer experiences.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supports commercial growth & profitability through personalized, targeted actions  
  • Channel strategy execution for email, push, SMS
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across to drive traffic, conversion and average order value and scale them across omnichannel touchpoints
  • Build and optimize lifecycle journeys (welcome, abandon basket, back-in-stock, churn prevention, win-back) 
  • Implement personalized loyalty onboarding flows (email, push, SMS) 
  • Build and deploy automated commercial email and push campaigns  
  • Optimize all transactional flows (abandoned basket, browse abandonment, back-in-stock, order/shipping updates, returns) for engagement and upsell opportunities  
  • Ensures execution & optimization orchestration of all email/push/sms flows 
  • Optimizing journey performance through segmentation, personalization, and continuous A/B testing
  • Build, test, and refine customer segments based on behavioral, transactional, and preference data
  • Monitor segment performance (engagement, conversion, churn risk) and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Analyze segmentation insights to deepen customer understanding and identifying growth opportunities 
  • Ensure segments are consistently activated across channels (email, push, SMS, on-site personalization)
  • Develop and maintain preference centers and strategies for collecting and activating zero-/first-party data 
  • Lead A/B tests and develop growth-hacking strategies
  • Use insights to promotional planning, and growth hacking decisions
  • Execute & optimize strategies for new customer acquisition 
  • Create & produce digitally optimized content using AI tools 
  • Redesign and optimize templates and content blocks for personalization at scale 

 

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • have minimum 3 years experience in areas like: CRM, marketing automation, customer data, personalization – ideally within Omnichannel retail
  • a proven track record of building and optimizing lifecycle campaigns and strong expertise in lifecycle marketing, personalization platforms and consent management

We look for:

  • Hands-on experience with CRM and automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Bloomreach, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of customer journey design across email, SMS, push notifications, and personalization
  • Practical knowledge of segmentation and targeting, including RFM models and behavioral/audience segmentation
  • Familiarity with consent management, permissions, and preference collection best practices
  • Knowledge in ecommerce platforms, digital analytics, (such as but not limited to): SFCC, Shopify or other ecommerce platforms, Google Analytics, PowerBI
  • Experience in content management systems, A/B testing & personalization tools, and other digital solutions, such as Algonomy, SFCC Einstein, Playable, Google Vertex AI Search
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and experience to use data for performance optimization
  • Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and growth-hacking experiments to improve campaign performance
  • Strong analytical mindset: ability to monitor KPIs, build reports, and optimize journeys based on performance and customer insights
  • Ability to create and optimize commercial emails and transactional messages, balancing brand tone with sales impact
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., Google AI Studio, MidJourney, Firefly, Jasper, Runway) and the ability to leverage them for content production at scale
  • Understanding of zero- and first-party data activation and how to leverage it in lifecycle and personalization campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of ETL and reverse ETL processes 

 

Additional requirements:

  • Fluency in English and in Estonian or Latvian or Finnish languages (written and spoken) 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
