Are you an SEO enthusiast with a passion for travel and aviation? Icelandair is seeking an SEO Specialist to join its dynamic Marketing Department within the Commercial Division. This is your chance to play a key role in enhancing Icelandair's organic visibility across global markets while collaborating closely with teams in Iceland and Estonia.
As part of Icelandairs Digital Marketing team, youll balance creative content strategies with technical SEO optimization, contributing to impactful projects in a collaborative and growth-driven environment.
What youll be doing
· Develop and execute Icelandairs SEO strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager.
· Conduct keyword research to target high-impact audiences and regions.
· Optimize website content (titles, meta descriptions, interlinking) in collaboration with content specialists.
· Ensure website architecture and CMS are aligned with SEO best practices.
· Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush; set KPIs and report insights.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align SEO with marketing goals.
· Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to refine strategies.
· Maintain strong relationships with global agency partners and advise senior leaders on progress.
· Execute SEO projects while adhering to company standards and protocols.
What were looking for
· Previous experience in SEO and/or Content Marketing.
· Proven track record of improving organic search performance and visibility.
· Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush, certifications are a plus.
· Understanding of technical SEO, including website architecture and HTML, and familiarity with CMS platforms.
· Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written (additional languages like Italian, French, or German are a plus).
