Purpose of the Role

As a Junior BI Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance BI solutions, transforming raw data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and visualizations. You will ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability while optimising the end-to-end reporting experience for business users.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI reports and dashboards with advanced DAX measures, KPIs, and calculated columns
Implement data transformations and ETL logic using Power Query (M) for efficient data preparation
Design and optimise data models (star schema, snowflake schema, or hybrid) for high-performance analytics
Apply best practices for report performance, including aggregations, incremental refresh, and query optimisation
Connect and integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Azure Data Services, Excel, SharePoint)
Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements, translating business logic into BI solutions
Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation of data lineage, calculations, and dashboard usage
