Coolbet is looking for a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team! In this role, you'll manage day-to-day accounting for our group of companies, applying IFRS principles to evaluate and interpret financial data. You'll be a part of a global Finance team based in Estonia, the UK, and the USA, which is responsible for key areas such as FP&A, tax, accounting, and treasury. A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Actively participating in the monthly closing process for the group of companies, including preparing journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Embracing the world of data entry, juggling purchase invoices, expense and travel reports, and bank payments effortlessly.
- Registering and reconciling bank statements.
- Assisting in monthly expense variance analysis and other accounting related tasks.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements in current processes - your innovation game is strong!
You're good at
- Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Business Administration or Finance.
- You have at least one year of experience in finance-related roles.
- You are proficient in the MS Office suite, with strong technical skills.
- You are fluent in both Estonian and English, with excellent communication abilities, excelling in both team collaboration and independent work.
- Combining a keen eye for detail with the ability to think strategically.
- Showcasing strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Adapting quickly to the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing company.
- Bonus points for expertise in Estonian financial reporting standards or IFRS.
- Previous experience in the iGaming industry and exposure to an international work environment would be a plus.
- Familiarity or experience with Telema and Directo software gets you extra cool points.
