Job description and requirements
Zubax Robotics is seeking a power PCB design engineer to build electric drive inverters (motor controllers) for manned and unmanned electric aviation.
The job entails the full development cycle starting from the initial high-level technical requirements up to the final manufacturing documentation package submitted to the PCBA contractor. This includes participation in the development of the low-level technical requirements, calculation of the key design parameters such as the switching energy, power losses, heat dissipation, etc., as well as the schematics development, PCB routing, and design of the related mechanical structures such as enclosures and heatsinks. Further, the job also involves participation in the development of the final user documentation, such as datasheets and application notes.
The candidate should have a BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar qualification and have a solid understanding of the electromagnetic and thermal processes transpiring in high-power electronics. Experience with KiCAD and SolidWorks is a plus.
