What You Will Do:
- Execute daily accounting and monthly closings, including reconciliation and bookings
- Manage General Ledger and assist month-end and year-end closure processes
- Execute tax calculation and reporting
- Leading Product accounting activities
- Communicate and provide requested information to external auditors
- Providing consultations in tax and accounting area to internal stakeholders
- Representing Luminor in external institutions (for instance, Tax authority, Banking association, etc.)
- Act on operational issues, keep up-to-date to ensure compliance with regulatory changes
- Participate as project member in projects, including rollouts and upgrades, to support the production processes
- Drive, teach and be responsible for knowledge sharing with colleagues and partners to increase competence and reduce dependency on key employees
- Take responsibility in professional self-development and contribute to own and team performance improvement by constructive feedback and relevant suggestions
What We Expect:
- Bachelor`s degree in Economics, Banking, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- At least 3 years relevant working experience withGeneral Ledger and tax accounting
- IFRS knowledge
- Good accounting software skills (Navision)
- Good project management skills
- Experience in designing and implementing process improvements and controls
- Analytical thinking & great collaboration skills
- Readiness to take ownership
- Fluent Estonian and Englisharerequired in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
