Purpose of the role:

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Bar Waiters/Waitresses to join our team at Bombay Club and Burman Hotel Restaurants. The ideal candidate will contribute to the high-end atmosphere of our club and hotel by providing impeccable service to patrons at the bar and throughout the venue.

Your responsibilities will be: 

• Taking and processing drink orders accurately and efficiently, delivering a high level of customer service.
• Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with attention to presentation and quality.
• Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
• Responding promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools.
• Assisting in restocking and replenishing bar supplies as needed.
• Providing table service to guests seated in the bar area or other designated spaces.
• Promoting special events, drink specials, and promotions to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Upselling premium beverages and encourage guests to explore new and signature offerings.
• Adhering to all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Following responsible beverage service guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience as a Bar Waiter/Waitress in a high-end club, hotel, or upscale establishment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, and bar etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age requirement 21 years.
