About this opportunity:


This C# Test Developer role at Ericsson Estonia is a multifaceted position encompassing a broad range of responsibilities, from requirement analysis and system design, through to product documentation and PLM support. Our developers are instrumental in the creation and maintenance of various components, systems, and solutions within our product portfolio. 

Our Test Technology department in Tallinn is looking for a C# Test Development Engineer, who can develop robust and cost-efficient 4G/5G production test solutions for our products. This is not a typical software developer role as the testing solutions we create are for radio and baseband products at our Tallinn Test Laboratory. We build test platforms consisting of software and hardware, and in this role you will be responsible from the software part.

This is a hybrid position based at our Tallinn Testing Laboratory with minimum 3-4 days per week working at our modern laboratory and offices. 
 

What you will do:

•   Study product technologies and test requirements, feedback product design by focusing on product testability
•   Work in close collaboration with Product Design, Test Project Managers, Embedded Software and Test Verification colleagues
•   Use standardized design strategy and contribute common test software solution to the platform
•   Execute test solution implementation and test system integration
•   Actively contribute to test fault analysis and seek any testing related problem
•   Actively contribute to troubleshooting and automation of development or production test environment
•   Create, update and maintain formal documentation of test solutions


The skills you bring:

•  Minimum 2-3 years work experience preferably in C# programming language (alternatively Java, C++, C)
•   Previous test development experience and knowledge
•   Previous experience in telecom or electronics or radio frequency. 
•   SW architecture (mircoservices, gRPC) and SW design patterns knowledge
•   Good documentation and report writing skills
•   Good time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
•   Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
•   Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, ICT or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
