Requirements
Education and Experience:
- At least a Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in compliance, legal, and audit within the financial sector preferably EU investment license
- Fluent in Estonian and English, knowledge of Russian would be useful
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of compliance principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of MiFID II
- Knowledge of AML, CTF, IS
Key responsibilities of a Compliance Officer:
- Promote a strong risk and compliance culture
- Contribute to the training program (assist in the development and delivery of trainings if needed)
- Contribute to the identification, measurement, and assessment of the compliance risk
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the compliance program
- Contribute to the compliance monitoring, testing, and reporting
- Support the development, update, and implementation of the policies and procedures
- Assist in the implementation of risk management frameworks and practices
- Assist in responding to inquiries from the supervision authorities (incl. on-site/off-site inspections) and auditors
- Applying enhanced due diligence measures to clients if needed
- Working closely with various units within the Admirals group of entities to provide compliance-related advice and support and to support also group-wide compliance function if needed
