Position: Alumni Coordinator, full-time position 
Reports to: BAFF Senior Alumni Coordinator 
Location: Tallinn, Estonia  
Other: Must be available to travel within the Baltic states and to the U.S. as required 


Overview  
Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) is a global leader in international education, administering programs for over 30,000 international students annually and supporting private foundation scholarships. CIEE administers programs on behalf of the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation (BAFF). Established in 2010, BAFF promotes U.S.-Baltic ties through education and exchange programs, offering fellowships and alumni opportunities to enhance economic growth and democratic values. The BAFF mission is to deepen the ties between and among Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United States through programs of education and exchange centering on economic growth and democratic values.  
The successful candidate will be employed by CIEE and will collaborate with Baltic and U.S. staff to achieve position objectives for BAFF Alumni.  

Position Summary 
Alumni Coordinator will collaborate with the BAFF Alumni Council and Balticand U.S.based staff to execute initiatives to engage a growing BAFF alumni community. Working with BAFF staff and the BAFF Alumni Council, the Coordinator will collaborate on alumni engagement strategy and program, event, tools, and activity design and execution. This position will offer the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders to intentionally connect BAFF alumni and deepen their commitment to achieving the BAFF mission. 
As BAFF Alumni are mainly based across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, support for all three countries will be required, including a significant amount of travel. You will work a lot with BAFF Alumni Council, which is a volunteer effort, therefore working hours might be outside of traditional office hours.  

 Key areas of responsibilities: 
  • Manage systems and processes that will directly support alumni in building relationships with each other and the broader community. Promote and foster alumni relations, networking and engagement through different channels and activities.  
  • Manage logistics, including required clerical tasks, and provide other support as needed for the successful implementation of alumni programs, events, tools and other initiatives, including volunteer activities. 
  • Arrange Alumni Council and committee meetings. 
  • Monitor alumni engagement results, Action plan, and budget to meet annual and long-term goals. 
  • Maintain communication and networking with alumni including but not limited to newsletter, social media platforms, e-mail communication and other channels. 
  • Analyze the efficacy of the communication strategy and make adjustments in frequency and division of posting across platforms. 

Requirements: 
  • University degree. 
  • Complex stakeholder management experience, proven experience in building trust and partnership with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and multicultural interpersonal skills, passionate about working with people. 
  • Strong ability to multi-task while overseeing daily projects and events. 
  • Proactive, showing initiative and motivation to reach the best results, hands-on attitude and urge to learn. 
  • Flexibility to occasionally work on weekends and evenings as needed. 
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and oral. 
  • Procient MS Office skills and experience. 
  • Have the skills and the willingness to perform specific tasks needed to navigate various communication and marketing-related tasks (Canva, Instagram etc.).
