Requirements for candidates

Bachelors or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable course of study.
Expertise in API and integration testing.
Familiarity with defect management processes, including root cause analysis.
Experience with troubleshooting application logs, particularly in Golang-based environments.
Strong proficiency in tools such as Postman, Swagger, and NewRelic for testing and monitoring.
Experience in preproduction environments and awareness of the impact of changes on system stability.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for cross-team collaboration.
Ability to collaborate closely with development, Level 3 support, and product teams.
Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and creating automated API tests.
Experience working in agile environments, familiar with SAFe or DevOps methodologies.

Job description

· API Testing & Backend QA: Develop, execute, and automate API tests using Postman. Ensure backend services perform reliably, focusing on preproduction environments to guarantee smooth integration before production release.

· Defect Analysis & Reporting: Analyze defects through application logs and NewRelic insights. Participate in defect management meetings to report progress, resolve issues, and route tickets to the appropriate teams.

· Change Impact Assessment: Monitor upcoming system changes, assess potential impacts on testing and system stability, and ensure test coverage reflects these updates.

· Collaboration & Cross-Functional Testing: Work with product and development teams to refine defect resolutions, re-test issues, and validate backend integration with other systems. Ensure any production lessons are applied to preproduction testing.
