What will you be doing?
- Advising the bank's management and team on various legal issues, including organizational management and various legal aspects related to customer projects
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Advising the management to ensure compliance of Finora Group's companies with local laws, rules, regulations, and standards, including data protection requirements
- Advising banks management in debt collection processes, as well as in bankruptcy cases
- Daily work on banking regulations to ensure compliance with current banking supervision requirements for Finora Bank's Estonian branch
- Keeping abreast of laws, regulations, and changes affecting the Estonian banking sector
- Identifying and efficiently managing legal risks in collaboration with various departments of the bank and group companies
- Undertaking the responsibilities of the contact person for AML with sufficient experience
What will help you succeed?
- Previous experience of at least 3 years as a lawyer
- Experience or knowledge in the field of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism
- Previous work experience in banking or the financial sector is beneficial
- A bachelor's or master's degree in law
- Strong argumentation, listening, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to work operationally with different tasks on several projects and with complex assignments
- Excellent analytical skills, precision, systematic approach, and consistency
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Estonian and English
