Playtech's IT Infrastructure unit is looking for a proactive Network Administrator with great problem solving skills.
The Network Administrator is responsible for supporting Playtech corporate network infrastructure in data centers and offices in various geographical locations. Network administrator maintains a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth operation of LAN, WAN, VPN and WiFi networks.
Job Description
Your influential mission. You will...
- Install, configure, maintain, support, and upgrade corporate network equipment, connections, applications, and auxiliary systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems reported by users or systems
- Ensure security and efficiency of IT network infrastructure according to corporate policies and procedures, including backups and disaster recovery
- Deliver and report of IT network projects across corporate
- Support the team with technical and operational knowledge of best practices around network infrastructure management, control, and monitoring
- Perform additional relevant tasks as assigned by the team leader
Qualifications
Components for success. You...
- Have proven experience in a network administrator role in office and datacenter environments
- Are skilled in configuring, maintaining, and supporting:
- ISP and BGP transit, Layer 2 WAN, Cisco and Juniper switches and routers
- Firewalls, policy, site-to-site VPN, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Tufin SecureChange
- User VPN solutions, Pulse Secure
- Network Access Control, Network Policy Server, Cisco DNA Center, dot1x
- Wireless networks, access points, controllers, Cisco Meraki devices and portal, and WLC
- Load balancing internal applications, F5
- Are a self-motivated problem-solver with attention to detail, quality, and deadlines
- Are an adaptable collaborator who can work creatively across geographic and cultural boundaries
- Prioritize integrity and continuous development
- Are proficient in written and verbal communication in English

IT INFRASTRUCTURE UNIT
Our IT infrastructure team has transformed from a fragmented structure into a unified and cohesive unit. With 17 dedicated professionals across 8 offices, our team supports Playtech's non-production infrastructure across more than 30 sites globally, including locations in the UK, Ukraine, Estonia, Austria, Gibraltar, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Philippines, Israel, Germany, and Sweden.
We specialize in a wide array of infrastructure services, including:
- Networking: office internet, wired and Wi-Fi networking, user VPN
- Virtualization: VM management
- Data Protection: backups and disaster recovery (DR)
- Storage Solutions
- Server Management: Linux and Windows servers
- Server Hardware Maintenance
