Purpose of the role:

The Spa Therapist performs a variety of spa treatments and therapies to enhance the well-being of guests at the Burman Hotel's spa. This role requires expertise in delivering high-quality treatments and ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for guests.

Your responsibilities will be: 

• Provide a range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, and body treatments at the highest standard.
• Interact with guests, displaying proper etiquette, offering a warm personalized welcome upon arrival, and bidding them a fond farewell.
• Assess guest needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment rooms.
• Report any faults, defects, or maintenance needs within the spa areas to the Head Spa Therapist.
• Upsell tailored spa services and products to enhance guest experiences and maximize spa revenue.
• Ensure guest comfort and safety during treatments.
• Communicate effectively with spa staff regarding daily appointments, requests, and special requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in spa therapies.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stock levels of spa products.

What we expect from you:

• Certification in relevant spa therapies and treatments.
• Previous experience in a spa environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for wellness and hospitality.
• Proficiency in English at a conversational level.
• Team player dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences.
