Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Business Development Lead to join our team. This role will be crucial in building strategic partnerships, leading marketing initiatives, and fostering a vibrant community around Opticonomy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and business development related to AI and/or blockchain, with a proven track record of forming successful partnerships and executing impactful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing and Community Building:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Opticonomy.
Create and manage content for blog posts, whitepapers, and explainer videos.
Establish and optimize profiles on key social media platforms.
Engage with AI and blockchain communities through forums, webinars, and hackathons.
Coordinate press releases and media kits for major announcements.
Partner with influencers to promote Opticonomy.
Conduct targeted airdrop campaigns and launch bounty programs.
Maintain regular updates and community interaction through various channels.
Implement a robust feedback mechanism to gather user insights and improve the platform.

Business Development and Partnerships:

Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities at major AI and blockchain conferences.
Secure speaking engagements and panel discussion slots for the leadership team.
Form integration partnerships with AI companies to enhance the platforms offerings.
Collaborate with other blockchain projects and form alliances with large enterprises.
Develop internship programs and offer guest lectures to engage with academic institutions.
Sponsor and organize hackathons and research competitions.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, digital marketing, and community building, preferably within the AI or blockchain industry.
Proven track record of forming successful partnerships, driving business growth, and executing impactful marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of AI and blockchain technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
