US Embassy is seeking a private chef to work at the residence. Resumes should be sent in English.

Desired skills and qualification:

High standards for the quality of their own work;
Experience in hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants, retail, private residences, etc);
Ability to adapt to different situations to accommodate customer needs;
Capable of maintaining confidentiality and catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and restrictions;
Knowledge of dining etiquette or diplomatic protocol is not required but is a plus.

Requirements:

Must have a personal car for running errands;
Willingness to register as self-employed;
Ability to communicate in Estonian and English;
Secondary education;
1 year of related work exp

Responsibilities:

Shopping;
Cooking;
Serve meals and drinks at events;
Menu planning;
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen during/after meal preparation;
Other duties as assigned in the residence.

The U.S. Embassy in Tallinn conducts diplomatic relations with the Republic of Estonia and coordinates the activities of all U.S. Government personnel serving in Estonia. Bilateral cooperation includes political, economic, commercial, defense and security, educational, and agricultural activities. The Embassy also provides consular services, including visas for visitors to the United States and passports for United States citizens in Estonia.
