You as Infrastructure Architect will:

• Design, plan, implement and own ICT infrastructure and related software platforms for Ericsson Supply Site Tallinn, ensuring the organization’s systems are scalable, secure and robust to meet the business's current and future needs
• Own Tallinn factory IT infrastructure roadmap and blueprint, as is and to be
• Ensure design documents, architecture diagrams, specifications and configuration details are in place and under proper lifecycle management
• Ensure that IT Security controls are built-in and met in all infrastructure solutions
• Collaborating with stakeholders and partners to understand the organization’s needs and identify the technical and physical requirements for the ICT infrastructure
• Translating business and technical needs into solution architecture requirements and design, aligned to Ericsson TAMP (Target Architecture Master Plan)
• Champion Infrastructure Architecture core principles, and ensure compliance across all Infrastructure activities
• Evaluate and recommend hardware, software and networking solutions to meet the organization’s ICT infrastructure needs
• Coordinate with IT and facility teams to install, configure, deploy and integrate the infrastructure and related software platforms with existing systems
• Analyze current and future usage patterns to estimate infrastructure capacity requirements
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provide expert guidance and assistance to IT and other teams in resolving complex infrastructure-related issues and incidents
• Engage with vendors and suppliers to evaluate, negotiate and manage contracts for hardware, software and services related to ICT infrastructure
• Train and mentor IT and facility staff on infrastructure technologies and best practices, and share knowledge with other team members
• Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the organization’s ICT infrastructure.
  
  In this role it’s important you have:
• Excellent knowledge of data center ICT infrastructure solutions, such as physical hardware servers, network equipment, firewalls, storage and backup, proxy servers, UPS etc
• Deep and broad knowledge and experience in designing, delivering and maintaining ICT infrastructure and network technologies
• Exceptional knowledge and skills with Microsoft Server as well as Linux systems
• Sound understanding of virtualization technologies
• Extensive experience of private, hybrid and public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of relational database management systems
• Knowledge and experience in automation (Ansible, Puppet)
• Strong knowledge of ICT market insights and trends
• Good knowledge of IT Security frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST, CIS etc
• Proficiency in English – verbal and written
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management methods and techniques
• MSc in engineering (ICT or Computer Science related field); or BSc in engineering (ICT or Computer Science related field) or relevant working experience
