A backend developer at Baltic LEI plays a critical role in the success of the business. You will be part of a small tight-knit team, helping make decisions about technical implementations and business processes, as well as implementing and maintaining features.

1) At least 5 years of experience in software development
2) At least 3y experience with Laravel and SQL databases
3) Systemic problem-solving skills
4) Ability to learn independently
5) Consistency and patience. We solve difficult tasks
6) Sometimes it takes days or weeks to figure out, to gather, and organize information.

A developer working in our team is responsible for their features from beginning to end. That means his work involves:
1) Identifying technical requirements (spec) with the business team and other developers and writing them down
2) Software development based on the requirements
3) Writing automated tests for self-written code
4) Manual testing
5) Code deployment
6) Feature monitoring in the weeks following deployment
