The Commercial Planner plays key role in Velos IoT to build and operate a commercial modelling framework from bottom-up to top-down methodologies for revenue and margin budgets, forecasts and validations.

Main tasks:

• Perform financial evaluation to assess commercial initiatives
• Perform ad hoc commercial analysis, modelling and reporting
• Support teams in negotiating deals
• Produce meaningful reporting on both customer & product profitability comparing outputs against strategy/trends & recommendations for change to drive business value and achieve KPIs
• Develop comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on customer / product revenues, gross and net margins
• Work with various teams and segments to understand forecast and key movements in respective business lines
• Work with teams in building business cases for new strategic initiatives
• Identify and analyze market issues and trends, determining appropriate pricing actions, filing of actions, and post-audit assessment of actions

Requirements:

• 3-4+ years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in planning and analysis
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Excel, SQL ; Microsoft Access experience a plus
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Strong analytical skills including demonstrated aptitude with financial analysis and ability to generate insight from large and complex data sets
• Strong project management skills and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong financial acumen including experience with the commercials and cost methods of accounting
• Excellent spoken and written English
