Commercial BI Analyst for Bombay Group

Our Bombay department is looking for a Commercial BI Analyst to join us on our journey! 📊

Working closely with the Account Management Team, you'll maximize the commercial returns on new and existing opportunities. This is a key role in providing analytical support to the Account Management team and Management, driving insight, profitability, and knowledge.

✍️ Your daily tasks will be 

• Deliver quality commercial analysis on special events, marketing, and promotional activity, product performance, and various business initiatives, including your conclusions and recommendations
  
• Modelling new opportunities or initiatives proposed by the business to determine whether an appropriate ROI will be generated
  
• Undertake tracking and analysis of new projects to ensure they are delivering against key measures of success. Ensure all variances are clearly understood and explained
  
• Improve the analytical capabilities of the BI department with a commercial focus
  
• Support and feed into the financial planning processes by identifying and modeling key business drivers, trends, and KPI’s
  
• Assist in the creation of targets, and sound forecasting for & with the Commercial team
  
• Build good working relationships with key contacts to understand the business needs and be the commercial face of the BI team
  
• Lead competitor performance analysis
  
• Be the key point of contact for the Account Management team
  
• Lead the Benchmarking Analysis
  
  
  

✔️ What we expect from you

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau 
  
• Previous experience in undertaking a wide variety of commercial analyses within the Gaming industry
  
• Excellent awareness of modeling and analytical techniques
  
• Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data
  
• Proactive in looking for opportunities to drive improvements
  
• Strong problem-solving skills
  
• Good multi-tasking and time management skills, and ability to work in a fast-moving Account Management team
  
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with staff at all levels
  
• Good written communications skills

 

🖌️ Skillset

• PL-SQL or equivalent query language
• Power BI Premium Features as dataflows and lifecycle management
• Power Automation
• DAX and Data Modelling
• Strong DAX and M Code/Query skills
• Previous experience in doing quality reviews of Power BI applications.
• Experience with data structure and transformation
