Job description
Senior Devops Engineer will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving automation pipelines for Broadcom's software development teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in Devops Engineer role
- Real world experience with operating CI/CD pipelines and related tooling as well as a deep understanding of DevOps principles
- Experience with Jenkins, management and extensions is a must with other CI platforms and tools as a bonus (Git, Artifactory)
- Automation focused thinker with skills to script/develop/debug tool integrations
- Cloud background is required (preferably with Google Cloud Platform)
- Familiar with containerization and kubernetes (networking and storage experience preferred)
- Current with industry trends and best practices, able to identify the ones we should implement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to communicate effectively with team and management
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
- Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed
- Solid and reliable team player, expertise in working with Agile/Scrum teams
