Java Back-end Developer for Bombay Live Product

As a member of the Yolo Ventures family, the Bombay Live Product team focuses on building premium quality games, like Roulette, Baccarat and Blackjack, giving the option of multi-table betting alongside an innovative live chat function enabling interaction between players. While keeping in mind the mobile-first approach.  

Our close-knitted team of 13 is now looking for experienced Java Back-end Developers to jump on board. You would be joining a team full of professionals who enjoy each other's company while being supportive and delivering great things together.

 

✍️ Your daily tasks will be

• Developing games based on requirements and designs provided by Product Owners/Product Manager
• Supporting platform integrations and enhancements
• Simulating millions of rounds to confirm and verify expected Return to Player (RTP) / house edge
• Maintaining version control of all additions and updates using GIT and other tools
• Maintain information in JIRA and Confluence to the expected level
• Being ready to investigate and provide support of game issues to an external operator
• Participating in the code review process of all components
• Participating in architectural decisions 
• Maintain good communication with other team members and key stakeholders across the group
• Be a mentor for other developers and actively share knowledge among the team members 

 

✔️ What we expect from you

• Proven experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Redis and RabbitMQ
• Solid understanding of TDD, clean code principles and clean architecture
• Knowledge and experience with code versioning tools (Git) and branching models
• Experience with WebSocket communication and RESTful API design and usage
• Solid understanding of enterprise system architecture, scalability and user experience
• Experience in working with synchronous applications, e.g. multiplayer games, casino games, chatbot applications is beneficial
• Fluent level of verbal and written English
