BA Producibility Engineer

Ericsson Supply Site Tallinn’s Board Assembly Engineering department is looking for BA Producibility Engineer to develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe board assembly and repair processes, select equipment and develop tools in accordance to generic technology requirements and products specification.

As a BA Producibility Engineer, you will:

• Define, assure and develop Board Assembly process for NPI, ramp-up and product maintenance phases
• Validate producibility aspects of new products design towards production processes quality and efficiency perspective
• Analyse Board Assembly product quality data to define the root causes
• Contribute in NPI project teams in the role covering Board Assembly process related area
• Contribute the PCBA producibility aspects feedback loop between Design for Manufacurability and PDU
• Verify new components design and specifications compatibility towards standard BA processes
• Contribute certain product requirements and global design rules update process from supply perspective
• Develop and innovate production processes
• Have lead responsibility for the Board Assembly end results and take improvement decisions
• Take coordination of local engineering team on prototyping activities
• Support EMS on TPI and production launch activities
• Participate Ericsson global Board Assembly and Producibility related forums

To succeed in this role, it is important you have:

• BA or MA degree in Electronics or Mechanical engineering
• Board Assembly production technology knowledge or related work experience
• Understanding about DFM (Design for Manufacturing) process
• Knowledge about Quality assurance methods and standards
• Basic knowledge of SMA components manufacturing processes
• Supply Chain & Supply Process knowledge
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Innovative and adaptable, team player attitude
• Good level of English. Russian and Estonian as advantage
• Good presentation and communication skills
