CFoundation CR14 was established by the Estonian Ministry of Defence on the 1st of January 2021 and is based on more than 10 years of military-grade cyber range experience in cybersecurity training, exercises, testing, validation and experimentation. CR14 offers cybersecurity-related research and development for domestic and international; private and public sector partners. Our customers come in all sizes: from small cyber-security startups to governments, from military to the academia. Our high-performance data centre with unique cyber-physical systems, such as ICS, telecommunication, and maritime systems is capable of deploying >5000 VMs in mere hours and the network capture from one day goes beyond hundreds of terabytes. We are running our own 5G network when much of the world is only waking up to this future challenge.
CR14 and the #cyberrangers team offers a unique place to experiment, learn through success and failures and the opportunity to develop yourself to the next level. And we are now offering it to our next Infrastructure Reliability Engineer.
We are looking for you if your calling is to become one of the #cyberrangers and you have an ambition to play a critical role in taking a unique cyber ranges multiverse to a new level.
Infrastructure Reliability Engineer is expected to:
- To plan, maintain and monitor the infrastructure state of CR14’s Cyber Range Data Center.
- Help to design, give input and lead the process of Data Center infrastructure design, integration and requirements analysis.
- Maintain, manage and mitigate the 4C potential bottlenecks of CR14 Cyber Range Data Center.
- Provide technical input for technical Cyber Range exercises from the Data Cener perspective.
- Configure and maintain DCIM software.
Expectations on candidate:
- Good understanding of Data Center technologies and best practices, tools, and concepts to provide sustainable operations.
- Previous experience in working in a Mission Critical environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Basic understanding of Networking (IPv4/6).
- Ability to work with different operating systems (Windows/Linux).
Everything will be even smoother if You:
- Have worked with DCIM software and physical infrastructure monitooring solutions.
- Have Experience working with electrical systems.
- Know how to manage Data Center supporting infrastructure (Genset, UPS etc).

Foundation CR14 was established by the Estonian Ministry of Defence on the 1st of January 2021. Based on more than 10 years of experience, the two main missions of our #cyberrangers are to maintain and develop a unique cyber ranges multiverse and support the NATO CCDCOE. CR14’s ambition is to become the cyber defence research, development and innovation hub by way of promoting and enabling practical international cooperation in cyber defence training and education as well as providing services and advisory for its partners.
