As our new Senior Compliance Officer, you will join a team of few Compliance professionals in an English-speaking environment. The position is crucial to supporting our mission to make the financial markets accessible to everyone. Here are some of the tasks and challenges you will tackle:

• Communicate with FIU regulators
• Set up AML framework
• Customer Onboarding Maestro, ability to perform CDD/EDD independently
• Coordinate AML/KYC activities with compliance colleagues in Luxembourg & Tallinn
• Assign risk ratings / assess risks and lead customer remediation projects
• Crypto and Fiat transactions monitoring
• Investigate and act on financial crimes including SAR/STR filings
• Manage manual reviews of PEP and sanctions alerts and discard false matches
• Support management of workflow related to interaction with regulatory and supervisory authorities (in Estonia)
• Coordination and timely update of Compliance internal policies and procedures as per Estonian legislation
• Compliance monitoring and support assessment of the effectiveness of key controls
• Building, developing and maintaining Compliance function methodologies, tools and solutions
• Organizing and improving compliance reporting and risk assessment tools and solutions
• Identification and assessment of risks associated with the business activities, including the development of risk mitigation measures in the assigned areas of responsibility
• Collaborating with stakeholders to manage identified compliance gaps, issues and risks and to implement action plans and recommendations
• Managing the team in Tallinn, providing internal training on the relevant laws and regulations

We are looking for an ambitious and curious person who has experience in Compliance and wants to join our motivated and all-round awesome team to help us shape the future of finance. Here’s what we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, Compliance Certification (e.g. CAMS) is a plus
• 5+ years Compliance experience within a Crypto Exchange, with ePayments or in a Fintech
• Experience with any Blockchain analysis tool and KYC RegTech tools used by Fintech
• Good knowledge of Estonian regulatory framework and industry practices within financial/virtual assets services  
• Experience with development and application of internal policies and procedures.
• Team player with solution-oriented way of thinking and high level of motivation
• A methodical and diligent approach to deliver accurate and timely results
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Estonian
