POSITION SUMMARY

Location : Tartu

As an IT Support Specialist, your main mission is to provide support Boku employees all over the world with the IT tools required to do their work successfully. This involves day-to-day troubleshooting of employees' problems, access management in different environments (Microsoft Office365, Jira, Confluence, AWS), support for Estonian offices network and meeting rooms hardware (in Tallinn and in Tartu) as well as preparation and maintenance of workstations with different operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows). The role expects you to be empathic in understanding people's problems and creative to come up with possible solutions. The profile we're looking for is an enthusiastic specialist with interest in a wide range of topics related to IT - be it Linux security patching or researching to purchase a new UPS.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT support field
  • Experience with setup and troubleshooting of different operating systems: Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
  • General understanding of common office networking solutions and devices (eg access points, switches, printers)
  • A general understanding of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and their administration
  • Understanding of common security practices and standards (eg GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Bonus points for experience with administration of Office 365
  • Bonus points for experience with PowerShell / Linux command line
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently without constant oversight
  • Good communication skills and empathy for people with different levels of IT knowledge
  • It is in your DNA to create documentation and instruction manuals
  • Fluency in English, enough to be used as an everyday work language
