As a Segment Manufacturing Lead Engineer, you will:
• Develop and implement cost efficient, safe, and ergonomic Final Assembly production processes in scope of NPI/GPI/TPI projects and maintenance work according to Manufacturing Engineering R&R
• Support PDU with prototype activities
• Support Production with NPI and maintenance activities
• Drive layout change process and create simulations on segment level
• Represent FA engineering team in projects on segment level
• Communicate with colleagues ongoing and upcoming plans and activities; and be a single point of contact for PO in a segment
• Drive escalations of critical processes and perform further investigations Drive innovations and improvement ideas
• Identify new opportunities for FA technology
• Continuously improve FA processes and ways of working
• Support Line manager with segment related activities
• Mentoring and coaching new employees, less experienced colleagues
• Manage sharing process of technical knowledge in the team
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• Master or Bachelor Degree in Engineering science
• More than 2 years’ working experience as an engineer in the same area
• Product and Production development process knowledge
• Familiar with production systems and tools: e.g. Compass, BOP, SIMUL8 TestNet, MI, Avix, SAP
• Ability to take initiative and make technical decisions
• Familiar with Lean Six Sigma and Agile ways of working in the company
• Excellent communicating and influencing skills
• Team working skillsSelf-motivated and self-directed work style
• Independent problem-solving skills and decision making
• Fluent in English, speaking and writing; Estonian and Russian - good knowledge and skills
