We are hiring a new Accountant to join our Estonian office in Tallinn, but it is a 100% remote job.
In the Accountant position, you will be part of a group-level finance function and will be responsible for all the accounting activities and processes.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of accounting experience in an international environment;
- Higher education in accounting, finances, or economy;
- Good logical and analytical thinking;
- Ability to work independently;
- Previous experience with consolidation would be an advantage;
- Excellent English and Estonian language skills;
- Detail-oriented and proactive mindset;
- Good communication skills;
- Excel skills;
- Previous experience with Odoo is an advantage.
You will handle:
- Creating sale invoices;
- Reviewing incoming purchase invoices;
- Matching purchase invoices with bank transactions in accounting software;
- Month-end procedures;
- Filling out VAT declarations for our US entity;
- Making payroll calculations and payments for our EE employees,
- Preparing data in US payroll system and with help for our UK accounting partner, preparing tax and salary payments;
- Filling out VAT and income tax declarations on monthly basis for our EE entities;
- Reporting to Statistics Estonia,
- Employee registrations in TÖR,
- Making financial statements for EE and US entity,
- Other occurring accounting procedures.
