Software Engineer at Checkout.com:
Checkout.com is actively looking for a dedicated Full Stack Developer responsible for maintenance, development, and integration of features for Checkout's online payment platform. The Javascript Developer will be a key player in building the future of how merchants will integrate with us, using the latest technologies. This developer will have the opportunity to work on brand new projects for Checkout.com and contribute to innovative solutions in the industry. You will also be collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams among software development, integration, and support improving the user experience. You will join a flat hierarchy environment with short decision paths and the ability to work independently, take initiative, implement new ideas required in a diverse and fast-paced team.
The LaunchPad product group is made up of mobile and web solutions to integrate with Checkout.com such as Frames, Hosted Payment Page, Payment Links and a range of e-commerce plugins, and a (middleware) API which facilitates the integration of those solutions with our core payment gateway.
About you:
- Strong experience with Javascript including Node.js and React
- Solid experience in Software Development, Design and Architecture
- Experience with Unit and Integration testing
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment workflows
- Cloud-based application development experience
- Ability to work in an Agile and high-paced environment
- Fluency in English
What You'll be doing:
- Developing new features and maintain previously developed features
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver key functionalities
- Assist in requirements identification and in producing specifications
- Partnering with Support, Sales, and Software Development to resolve issues that arise during merchant trials, integrations, or post-implementation support
- Advise management on support issues which impact customer satisfaction and provide recommendations for appropriate actions
