The Director will be responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company and will closely coordinate and work with the Board and senior leadership team. Your role as Director of this newly founded startup is to lead this company into a sustainable business and then scale up afterward. The initial team will consist of an AML Officer and yourself. 

• Excellent Estonian and English skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial or banking sector
• Experience working with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)
• Masters, MBA or Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• Well established network in the Estonian finance and banking environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think out of the box
• Must be an Estonian resident

• Plan, develop, implement, and direct the organization’s operational function and performance
• Analyze and make recommendations on the impact of long-range growth initiatives, planning, and introduction of new strategies
• Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
• Evaluate the company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies
• Develop industry partnerships & relationships
• Manage initial customer acquisition and lead the customer relations thereafter
• Build internal processes and staffing strategies
