Pricing actuary – analyst Baltics

• Higher education in econometrics, statistics, data science, actuarial sciences, mathematics, or similar
• Experience in statistical modelling
• Experience with data analysis tools (for example R or similar tools)
• Experience working with SQL or data warehouses (for example SAP BO or similar tools)
• High sense of responsibility and accuracy
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Results-oriented attitude and analytical thinking
• Fluent in English

We are looking for a highly skilled and business-oriented Pricing actuary - analyst, who will take key roles in the development of quantitative pricing and forecasting models for our insurance products in the three Baltic countries. This position is part of the pricing team in the Analytics, Products and Pricing division. You will participate in projects, knowledge sharing and trainings with other pricing actuaries and analysts from the Baltics and Nordics and build best practices in pricing and analytics.

About the job:
• Participation in strategic projects where statistical and mathematical substantiation is needed
• Development of quantitative models, using relevant statistical tools, practical application of models
• Regular monitoring of model performance and effectiveness, forecasting of future results
• Price optimization (finding profitable segments using statistical tools, monitoring)
• Documentation of the modelling process
• Technical price calculations using GLM models
• Presentation of project results to the management
• Dashboard preparation and ad-hoc analyses
