Business Analyst – Information Management (IM) Strategy and Execution

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Work on various IM initiatives aimed at democratising data, making it easier for analysts and other data users to find and understand data;
• Develop our enterprise data catalogue in collaboration with our metadata developers;
• Engineer and establish related information management processes;
• Support different units and initiatives in the bank to follow our processes, e.g. with correctly tagging data and documenting in our enterprise data catalogue.

What is needed in this role:

• Required:
• Completed a degree in a relevant academic field (e.g. data, engineering, systems science);
• At least 1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Steward or similar role working with BI, big data, analytics and/or data management, e.g. data governance;
• At least 1+ year of experience from process development, business requirements gathering and communicating with developers;
• SQL skills and willingness to work hands-on, e.g. with analysis of metadata gaps and metadata file upload;
• Service-minded and good at collaborating and communicating with many different people in a large organization;
• Excellent English, both written and speech;
• Structured, driven, takes ownership and goal-oriented.
• Meriting:
• Previous experience of working with a metadata solution;
• Previous experience of financial services;
• Previous experience of creating dashboards or reports.
